E’ morto all’età di 94 anni l’attore Michel Piccoli, considerato l’ultimo grande del cinema francese.
Attore, regista, sceneggiatore e produttore cinematografico francese, ha lavorato con i più grandi registi europei da Godard a Buñuel, Marco Ferreri e Elio Petri. Nel 2011 è stato protagonista di Habemus papam di Nanni Moretti, ruolo che gli è valso il David di Donatello.
Il riconoscimento più grande lo ottiene con Marco Bellocchio, grazie al quale si aggiudica la Palma d’oro di Cannes quale migliore attore per il film Salto nel vuoto nel 1980
Un percorso quello di Michel Piccoli, iniziato nei piccoli teatri parigini della Rive gauche.
