Warner Bros: Wonder Woman 1984 e Tenet usciranno al Cinema e non in streaming
La dichiarazione di Warner Bros. è piuttosto decisa: i suoi titoli di punta dei prossimi mesi non salteranno la finestra di uscita cinematografica
Nonostante l’emergenza Covid-19 stia costringendo diverse major a rilasciare i titoli previsti nelle sale sulle piattaforme streaming, Warner Bros. non intende giocarsi i suoi assi in questo modo.
Qualche giorno fa la Disney ha annunciato che Artemis Fowl debutterà il 12 giugno direttamente su Disney+, ma è pur vero che la neonata piattaforma di Topolino è di proprietà della Disney stessa.
La Warner Bros, che lo scorso anno ha portato al Cinema titoli del calibro di Joker, IT e a Star is Born, ha dichiarato che Wonder Woman 1984 e Tenet usciranno regolarmente al Cinema:
Restiamo convinti del sostegno all’esperienza teatrale e ai nostri partner fieristici. Le uscite cinematografiche sono sempre state una parte importante del nostro ecosistema. Del nuovo attesissimo film di Christopher Nolan, Tenet, vi abbiamo parlato tempo fa, e al momento la sua uscita nelle sale è fissata al 17 luglio 2020. Per quanto riguarda Wonder Woman: 1984 la data è stata posticipata al 14 agosto 2020, e per ora rimane invariata.
Chissà se la Warner Bros sarà costretta a tornare sui suoi passi? Noi di Cinevagabondo naturalmente ci auguriamo di no, anche perchè significherebbe che la catastrofe che si è abbattuta sull’industria cinematografica a causa del Coronavirus sarebbe tutt’altro che scongiurata. Noi non vediamo l’ora di tornare al Cinema. E voi?
