Dopo Gomorra arriva ZeroZeroZero, la nuova Serie TV tratta dal libro di Roberto Saviano
Le premesse sono delle migliori: la stessa casa di produzione di Gomorra: la serie, lo stesso regista Stefano Sollima e lo stesso grande autore, Roberto Saviano.
ZeroZeroZero è la nuova serie originale Sky Studios che andrà in onda su Sky Atlantic dal 14 febbraio, e sarà composta da 8 episodi.
La serie è tratta appunto dal romanzo-inchiesta di Roberto Saviano, ed ha come argomento centrale la lotta per la supremazia dello spaccio mondiale di cocaina, dai viaggi clandestini tracciati dal narcotraffico internazionale fino alle scalate al potere dei cartelli della droga sudamericani più potenti.
ZeroZeroZero racconta di sistemi criminali e familiari diversi tra loro ma ugualmente violenti e assetati di potere, e come i cartelli messicani, la ‘ndrangheta e uomini d’affari americani corrotti si contendano la supremazia delle rotte della merce più distribuita al mondo: la cocaina.
Il cast della serie è abbastanza incredibile, e vede tra gli altri Andrea Riseborough (Morto Stalin se ne fa un altro, La battaglia dei sessi), Dane DeHaan (The Amazing Spiderman 2, In treatment) e Gabriel Byrne (In treatment, I Soliti Sospetti), Harold Torres (Sin nombre, Northless).
Come ha dichiarato uno degli sceneggiatori della serie a Wired:
La struttura che abbiamo dato agli episodi è nata dal voler raccontare come tutto sia interconnesso, sono fatti che avvengono come in un tempo liquido tutti collegati. Una struttura che abbiamo già usato per Gomorra.
