Chi ha incastrato Roger Rabbit? La critica di Cartoonia a Hollywood
È difficile immaginare la portata innovativa che Chi ha incastrato Roger Rabbit ha portato nel mondo del Cinema.
Forse l’unico modo è ricordare che dietro questo gioiellino c’è la regia di Robert Zemeckis e la produzione dell’industria Light & Magic di Spielberg e George Lucas.
Così si spiega l’incredibile verosimiglianza dell’immaginario di Roger Rabbit: non solo i cartoni animati sono reali, ma sono inseriti nell’industria cinematografica di Hollywood con i suoi meccanismi finanziari e le sue logiche di mercato.
Per questo, Roger Rabbit è una delle più riuscite critiche al sistema holliwoodiano mai viste al cinema.
Bob Hoskins, scomparso pochi anni fa, tratteggia un detective tormentato tipico di un film noir, coinvolto in una indagine che vede protagonista dello scandalo proprio il povero coniglio. Come in ogni noir che si rispetti, ecco che appare una dark lady: Jessica Rabbit, così esplosiva da far impallidire qualsiasi principessa Disney.
Zemeckis porta all’estremo la commistione tra animazione e realtà, rendendo iper-realistica la convivenza tra il mondo degli umani e Cartoonia, luogo della fantasia che non risponde alle logiche del marketing di Hollywood.
Cartoonia è il mondo dell’Arte, dell’amore per le storie e per il cinema stesso, dove il denaro lascia il posto alla poesia e all’immaginazione. I cartoni, lavoratori sottopagati al servizio del sistema holliwoodiano. Ricordate Dumbo? Recita per un pugno di noccioline!
Il film è diventato una pietra miliare grazie ad una sceneggiatura brillante e a delle gag indimenticabili, ma soprattutto per la credibilità con qui questo immaginario prende vita sullo schermo.
